Believe in yourself!

I'm not doing wonderfully but I haven't given up. It's good to feel that I'm aware of what I'm eating rather than just stuffing my face. Know what I mean? I used to give up after 2 days of dieting but know I'm going to lose the weight this time even though it might take me longer than most. No going back!

Good for you and yes I know what u mean. Dieting or changing eating habits as I've started to call it is hard work. Had a bit of a lapse this evening but it could have been so much worse. not giving up still 2 days to weigh in. Hope you don't give up and stay motivated. The people on this site are so helpful and motivating we're all in the same boat and some have achieved their goals but still have lots of good advice. stick with it and don't let the odd lapse throw you off your plan. Good luck you can do it!!

You are in a good place from what you have wrote. I remember 10 weeks ago I was in this place to and just knew that this is the right time. There is no better feeling than to know when it is your time.

Stick with this and you will achieve so much and good luck on your journey x

It is challenging but you have to start somewhere! I felt quite inspired last night by seeing how much weight Lenny Henry has lost!

Good for you. I'm in a similar position. The pounds are coming off slowly but for me it's all about changing some habits. Got a difficult weekend to navigate though with meals out and drinks etc. which would usually mean I'd give up on any diet. But I'm making sensible choices and sticking to my plan despite it as there will always be events and meals going on.

I can also relate to you! I've had some terrible weeks at work, no time for exercise and I have eaten more, but chosen carefully what to eat, no chocolate or biscuits, which would have been my option 10 weeks ago. Keep going!!

Being aware of what you are eating is a massive breakthrough and will protect you from making bad choices in the future. Well done! I have lost weight slowly - 2 stone since last June and a stone to go - but I have developed new habits over that time and they are keeping me going without too much hardship. Keep it up - you will get there no matter how long it takes!

Thank you all for the support. Keeps me going! I can tell most family members and friends don't think I will do it. Can't blame them as I've had so many tries before. I do so hope no one buys me an Easter egg. Have asked them not to but some people are naughty and think one little treat won't hurt.
