How do you stay motivated to stick to the plan for the full 12 weeks?

How do you eat an elephant? That's right, one piece at a time. I don't know how much weight you're trying to lose, but try to take it day by day, week by week; picture, in your mind's eye, you standing in front of the mirror in 12 weeks' time and think how good you'll feel about yourself. Nothing succeeds like success, as they say, and you may be surprised how shedding a few pounds will give you an incentive to shed a few more. It might seem like forever, but 12 weeks isn't that long and the results are most definitely worth it.

I agree. All you need to do is commit for today. In practice, what distinguishes those who succeed from those who haven't yet is what happens after a wobble/mistake/sh*t happens. I suspect success is not about how much willpower you have but whether you make it easier on yourself.

(I find it helps to think in kilos but that might be just me)

Feeling better & healthier, looking better, people commenting on your weight loss. All good motivation. Not worrying if you go over your allowance occasionally, especially if eating out. By the end of the 12 weeks your new way of eating should be a way of life. I recommend planning all your meals, using smaller plates and not getting too hungry. Good luck.

Thanks. So true will keep this in mind and keep going. Definitely important to make it a new life style

I think it should be a way of life, a change, rather than needing 'motivation'.
