Back to Work

There is only one way to handle going back to work after more than 2 days off. And that is to prepare. So 85% of my marking was done, all seating plans, practicals planned for ks3 etc. Work for the supply teacher, etc. Not time wasted my friends. I felt confident going in this morning.

In terms of personal: I made enough cauliflower chickpea curry last night to cover today and tomorrow's lunch, prepped break time snacks of tuna mayo and Ryvita and an apple, skimmed milk for the coffee.

I get up at 5 am for ablutions, tea and then wii yoga or fitness blender.

Went for a walk after supper to get my steps up to 15,000.

Pleased. Onwards and upwards! Roll on this next term!

I like your positive approach teamed with planning. I am the same have homemade soup and rice cakes packed, two oat cakes and weIght out peanut butter plus an orange chopped up for today's sustanance at work. I really do think that planning what you are going to have is the best way to prevent going off plan. I am building up my steps with a quick walk ato lunch time with a killer hill included and a longer walk in the evening , aiming to log 7000 plus steps between these two sessions.

Good luck.
