I decided to join the monday weigh in today.. I have been on this calorie counting diet for a week now, just starting the second with my fitness pal.... I was at the gym 5 times, really watched what I was eating and im quite active at work as im a cleaner so always on my feet...
So I stepped on the scales and I have lost 5.5 pounds.... I am happy with this as it is a good loss, however is it not too much too soon ?
Advice would really help to put my mind at rest

Well done you ,i think most people lose a lot the first week or so ,so might not have such a good weight lose next week ,are you having the 1400 calories, i started today and have found that the 1250 calories iv had today was plenty 4 me ,again well done
Well the app I used suggested I aim for 1200, so thats what ive been doing. However when I have exercised I do tend to eat a little more to about 1400/1500 calories.
But counting calories has made me realise that before I was eating for the sake of it or boredom, ive now found I only eat when im actually hungry....
well done, you always lose water weight in the first week and the heavier you are the more you will lose, slowly losing less as you get lighter...Stick to your eating plan and you will get there..
