... the organisation that I work for isn't going to change it's corporate browser to suit Healthunlocked and, no, Mr Healthunlocked's IT man, I can't just click a link and load another one as I don't have the admin access to do that at work!
And I don't often get the time at home to come here, so I'm fairly likely to stop contributing to this board.
Good luck with your weight loss journeys, folks.

Sorry to hear this - you will be sadly missed and a very big loss to this site.
I have only been a member for a very short while but before joining up, I have read lots and lots and eventually plucked up the courage to join mainly because of the advice and help so freely given by yourself.
Please reconsider.
Thank you.
Hi lessfat,
I don't really have an option here. If I can't access the site / blog from work, then that severely cramps my style with it all.

That is a real shame - I really thought I had found somewhere and someone that could and would understand and help me but it would seem not. There only seems to be you that posts on a regular basis as I think that most of the others are already in well formed 'groups' and I feel like I would be intruding if I tried to join in.
I am really very sorry that it would seem that you are unable to continue posting on here and if that is what is going to happen, then I think whilst I may remain a member so that I can still read, I won't be joining in at all.
Thank you for all the good advice and help you have already posted perhaps the powers that be will not realise just what an asset they have lost until it is too late to do anything about it.
Hi lessfat,
My viiew is that the object of the exercise it to get your weight under your control - which is what I did and that's how I ended up being here.
That journey of losing your 'excess' weight, changing your eating (and exercise/activity) habits and learning how to have (and keep) an appropriate body weight is a learning curve - it's a journey of discovery about food, weight and about yourself too.
As you learn - then share. Encourage others along. Help them to keep riding the weight loss bus all the way to their targets. Listen to what others say and see what you can do to help their journeys.
And that way, this blog - whether I (or indeed any other of the "ex-fatties") keep posting or otherwise - will be a useful and helpful thing for people.
Good advice Doikosp, I will miss you if you go too as you've given me some valuable advice recently.
Lessfat I agree with doikosp. There are plenty of new people joining everyday don't give up on our little community just yet. I'm happy to chat to you any time. It can be hard when you first join (a bit like in life outside the net), everyone seems to know each other and you're the newbie, I still consider myself a newbie and I've been registered on here since January! I sat back and just read for a little while when i first joined but finally bit the bullet and asked a question.
The nice thing about this forum is everyone has a common goal and I for one am hoping that I'll be able to share it with people like yourself who really appreciate the time and effort and I'm putting in to get there.
