Does anyone know if there is a free download calorie counter available online/for android mobile phone? This would be a very useful tool.

Hi Smileysarah1,I have an app called FatSecret on my iPad.It is very good.There is info about all supermarket products.Ready meals and also restaurant meals.So much more.Hope you can download this it is fantastic.Best wishes x.

Take a look at myfitnesspal. There is an app and it also synchs with the website. I've found it very helpful and I nearly always find a suitable entry for my food in the database. The one drawback is that most of the calorie counts are entered by users, so you have to be a bit careful to make sure the information is accurate.
