I did it last year and lost 7lbs in 3 weeks. It takes a bit of planning for each day, as you will need to weight out everything. I used myfitnesspal to work all my calories out the day before. I ate lots of salads & soups as they are both low calories. Salads were best as your chewing the food so you did feel full. I also bought slim pasta (a veg based pasta, it's 7 calories per 100gs). It's not the best taste but added to soups it does keep you full for longer..
