Over the weekend....not lost any this week....more importantly and luckily I hadn't gained....oh well, see what next week brings.
How do you cope with the weekends and food...and drink?

I think it is important to plan what you are going to eat each day. if I have got an evening out with friends, when I know I will want to enjoy what I eat and drink, I try to be eat less before the evening out and do more exercise that day so I can relax a bit more in the evening - sort of robbing Peter to pay Paul
Thanks. Yes, I did my exercise this weekend....power walked the dogs lol. As eating out this weekend.
Hi tessababy,
One strategy is to eat less both in advance and after eating out. Another is to 'manage' the eating out situation using tricks like no starter, no fatty/creamy sauces (go for tomato-based), choosing carefully from the menue, sharing a desert, etc., etc.
Now for the bad news - I'm presuming you're referring to alcoholic drinks above.
Alcohol is rather high in calories but worse, it inhibits weight loss. It also has a disinhibition effect which makes it harder to be self-controlled or disciplined in your weight loss efforts too.
Basically, alcohol is toxic, so your body works at getting rid of it and in doing that puts other functions, such as burning off fat, 'on a back burner' - look at the alcohol aware site for one.
Try to avoid it or water it down as much as possible, or 'pass' on having a drink as much as you can whilst trying to reduce your body weight.
Good luck with your weight loss journey.
Thanks for this. It's soo right what you say.
