quick question.......are you supposed to eat slightly more calories when you're on your period?
I get tired too beforehand, and unfortunately makes me want to eat more.
yes I would and do, although i try to eat alternative foods with iron content and drink plenty of water will help reduce cramps etc, protein bars are a great wee alternative, i use herbalife and have a few bars sitting in my drawer to snack on when im due or on although i also dont deny myself a bar of chocolate if thats what i really want. if you have good snacks ready and available and pre plan your meals will make it easier at that time of the month, theres another great wee app called period tracker availalbe and you can put all sorts of symptoms etc in there and record any patterns you have
