Just last week I had a chat with one of my colleagues, a practice nurse, about this plateau I have hit. I know I am eating the right sized portions etc., and we had a general chat about the changes age brings when you try and lose weight, etc., and the one thing she mentioned which stuck with me, is increasing the intensity of exercise, and this is also mentioned in the article, in particular sprinting up a hill - so I thought I would test and see how that affects me. Since my chat with the practice nurse I have had three uphill hill runs (not ready for the sprints yet!!) and I had a 2 pound weight drop this week. I am chuffed to bits.
