after effects of metformin ? I’m so I’ll was anyone else the same ?

I’m just wondering if anyone else struggled when coming of metformin i currently have chest pain and feeling sick and tummy pain all the time and I came off it a week ago

My Doctor said to go back on it but I just can’t it’s really affecting my mental health and my physical health

Hi Parris I didnt have any symptoms coming off of Metformin and was relieved as it gave me stomach issues and pernicious anaemia , that I still have to have B12 injections for. It also made me put on weight. Its not for everyone but if your symptoms persist I would see your doctor.

sorry to hear that must have been awful for you :( Thank you I'm feeling much better now and finally don't have any tummy pain.
