I suffer with migraines. I have been also diagnosed with Idiopathic intracranial hypertension, which has some links to PCOS. If you suffer with regular migraines, it should be discussed with your GP. See if you can book an appointment for firstly a diagnosis of migraines and then relevant forward referrals. It may be that you need to be referred to neurology and have some scans/investigations. Hope this helps and I also hope you feel better soon! 🤞🏼

Hi Violet,

I definitely relate to that. I am on the pill and since August '21 I have migraines when I am PMS'ing to the point I need to stop working.

I went to my GP and now I'm waiting to run some blood tests to see how my hormones are (I was diagnosed with PCOS, in a different country, 22 years ago).

While waiting I take strong painkillers to "survive" (codeine + paracetamol).

I hope this helps and you feel better soon :)
