Different ovary sizes.

My older sister was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years or so ago. I wanted to know whether I had it too so I had a private pelvic ultrasound. I found out my ovaries are very different sizes: The right one was volume 3.78ml and the left 11.3ml. I took the report to my GP who didn't really look at it and just said it was all normal as I had ovulated. I've tried to get other answers but would appreciate some guidance as to whether I need to follow this up.

For info: It was 26th day of my cycle and the right ovary had ovulated. My cycles are fairly regular although have got slightly shorter in recent years. I suffer quite severe PMS and some pretty heavy bleeds at times. I find myself totally exhausted most periods.I am 30 years old.
