I have been using an app to predict ovulation. My cycle has worked out as 43 days. I’ve tested using a clear blue ovulation test on these days it says ovulation is expected and the test comes back negative? Can anyone help with any advice

Contact gp and see if she will give you a blood test to confirm ovulation sometimes the tests don’t pick it up xx

Are you measuring your temperature? The ovulation sticks only predict if your likely to ovulate, not that you have. With PCOS you can get several peaks also. The only way, other than blood tests, to confirm this is taking your temperature. Best thing we did ever

Hi Monnie

Is your period always coming every 42 days? If not you could....

Use the strips every day from the last day of your period. Take your temp too.

Keep everything to compare... I put mine in a notebook and dated each one.

Eventually you should see the positive indication for ovulation.

If you want blood tests to confirm ovulation, get the blood test done exactly 7 days after ovulation... this is the date your progesterone peaks and is the indicator of ovulation.

Xx
