Advice on PCOS
Have you spoken to your Gp about medication?
I haven’t. I’m not sure on what to say to them. Would I ask for helping me become more fertility or helping lose weight x
Hey
Definitely worth trying to lose weight, I know it’s harder for us but apparently means conceiving is much easier. Also cutting down as much as possible on sugar.
You have to be trying for at least a year in order to be referred to a sub fertility clinic. Also your partner would need to go for a semen analysis.
The first step would be a tablet called clomid which stimulates ovulation and means you release more than one egg so have more chance of becoming pregnant. Then if that isn’t successful they look at other treatments.
But definitely first thing would be to lose weight and start tracking your cycle to find out if/when you ovulate.
