I’ve just been diagnosed with PCOS through a private scan (and I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid 3 months ago). I’ve not had a period since coming off the pill 8 months ago.
A lot of the symptoms are the same for both so hard to tell which diagnosis is causing what.
Has anyone got any tips about what questions I should be asking my NHS doctor. What I should do next and what I should do with my diet - I’ve read loads about gluten/diary/sugar free diets.
My BMI is normal. Thank you.

Have a look at myo inositol. It's a supplement which may help. I came off my pill end of march last year and have been taking it to keep weight off. Only 4 cycles so far but its definitely helped manage symptoms.
Ask your doctor which hormones are high in your blood test results so you can supplement to try and balance them out
