Polycystic ovaries period problems
I dont know what else to do
Hi, I was prescribed norethistrone to induce a period as I have irregular periods due to my PCOS. My dosage was 3 a day morning afternoon evening for 10 days after finishing course my period came 2/3 days later. Regarding your high blood sugar levels, I guess you have type 2 diabetes ? Just like myself. I am on a insulin injection called Victosa (not sure that the right spelling) my sugar levels have come right down to a normal level just in 3 months & it also help me lose 3 stone in weight. So maybe worth asking your doctor about it. All other diabetic medication didn’t work for me, some even make you gain weight
There are definitely more options further down the line if nothing continues to work but chances are they will suggest weight loss and it is very important specifically in PCOS and periods! - not just the doctors whining on sadly
Look at the PCOS Diet Support and 30 day challenge which I think is about to start (and is free), so many ladies have reduced their symptoms hugely and also lost weight (not to mention pregnant!)
