Sorry if this is TMI, but I am on a strict diet to help with my PCOS symptoms, particularly to lose weight and I’m finding that I need to urinate all the time. I’ve cut back on my number of calories I’m having by more than half and I’m now having around 1100 calories per day. I would say I’m peeing every couple of hours and it’s so much water! I don’t think I’m necessarily drinking all that more water. Does anyone know if this is related to weight loss?
Thanks in advance

I think you are eating too little so will easily go into storage mode which we do really easily, it is quite fine line calorie wise to get right. Are you sticking to low GI type food ? Weeing that often doesnt sound quite right if you havent increased your liquid, I find I wee more often if I am dehydrated somehow which make no sense but I do.
Ive joined a Facebook group called PCOS Diet Support & 30 day challenge that starts end of the week. Her website (smartfertility) is very interesting. I had a diabetes test a few weeks ago and all ok but had an inflammation marker, she believes that inflammation makes pcos worse and the cause of it tends to be dairy (I have always eaten dairy and had no obvious issues) so I am going to cut out dairy too. Loads of ladies have lost weight on their but also have flat stomachs too (I can never believe mine could be flat lol!!) so we shall see.... it is a free challenge BTW
Thank you! To be honest I’ve just been sticking to low calorie and that’s the only thing I’ve been looking at. I’m losing 2.1kg per week at the moment so it’s addictive!!
Oh that sounds interesting, I will take a look! Thanks
