Dermatologist who will prescribe spironolactone (London)

Hi everyone - I’m getting really fed up/down about my thinning hair, hair on face etc. I’m on the pill but not making any difference. I’ve read a lot about spironolactone being an option, but I’m not sure how to go about getting it prescribed. Do any GPs or should I go straight to a dermatologist, and if so does anyone have any recommendations in London? I don’t want to waste money on someone who won’t prescribe, as I’m not sure how common it is.

An endocrinologist discussed Spironolactone as an option for my daughter. We saw one privately through Nuffield Health. I believe they are nationwide.

We did not need a GP referral, I just rang & made an appointment directly with Nuffield.

I got it through the hospital endocrine department. I have to say however that it didn't help me.
