After seeing a Gyno I was told that PCOS does not cause pain so that i would need a laproscopy. Ive now had the laproscopy and am awaiting results i was told nothing sinsiter was found does this mean no endo/pelvic inflammatory disease?
I suffer with awful pains that can be dehabilitating
Bleeding on a day to day basis
Shooting pains through my legs and pains in my ovarian area
I have gained 3 stone within a 8 month period of time
Does anyone have any advice on what could be the issue?

I work in gynaecology theatres and endometriosis is pretty clear to see in a laparoscopy. If you’re still not feeling well, ask for a second opinion. They should have take photos of your internal pelvic region to show you don’t have anything there.
PCOS can be painful. I don’t have pain everyday but i do get some occassionally. Everyone is different.
Well the gyno told me I shouldn’t have pain with PCOS which is why I had a laproscopy on the 19/03 (few days ago) I have not received my results yet but the anaesthetic said nothing sinister was found. Any ideas on how to manage PCOS as my pain occurs on a daily basis.
Did you see the surgeon after the op? All depends on what they call sinister - is endo included in it?? Sadly I dont think you will know until you have the follow up appointment. Can you chase up somewhere?
No I was told I will see him in a months time. Guess it’s a waiting game then. I’m not sure what they consider sinister I’m not even sure what i’ve had done. No where to chase up I will just have to wait x
