Pill/ no bleeding/ want regular cycle

Hi all, I’m new to this but wanted to see if anyone has any advice for me please.

I was diagnosed approx 11-12 years ago at around the age of 14-15.

I’ve not had a bleed in a year and my GP was supposed to give me something on Tuesday for it but said she wants me to stop taking my pill for a month and wait to see if it brings on a bleed (it won’t though as it never has in the past). I started taking my pill again the end of December as that usually causes me to have a bleed within 3-4 weeks of being on it - just not this time. I took it for over 8 weeks and still nothing..

I don’t take my pill constantly either as it causes me to have bad abdominal pain after a short time with no bleeding or anything. But also not being on anything causes me to have bad abdominal pain after some time too.

I don’t know what else to do. I want to have some medication that will help regulate my cycle (not the pill as it doesn’t work) but GP’s seem reluctant to give me anything as I’m not actively ttc at the moment. I really want children in the future (1-2 years) so don’t see why I can’t start getting my body prepared now for this. It’s so frustrating!

Has anyone been through/ going through anything like this or have any advice for me please?

What pill do you mean? Combined or POP pill I presume?
