No period

Hey, I could do with some advice. I have never had normal regular periods and have varied for some time between 2-3 weeks. The pill doesn’t work for me to regulate them and since facing issues of migraines and horrendous hormonal affects, the doctors have banned me from being prescribed the pill. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago and have been battling mentally with it. Anyways, the last 3-4 months my periods have got weirder. They are now less and less regular (looking like every 8 weeks) and when they arrive they drag on for weeks as tiny dark splodges. Given up asking the doctors for help, had my bloods etc tested not long ago and nothing irregular occurred. Anyone else experienced this and have any advice? Feeling more and more worried as the weeks go on.

May be worth considering something like the coil - I have never used it but I know lots and lots of ladies absolutely love it
