Diagnosed pcos 6 years ago. For the last year i have undergone many fertility tests and medication. Clomid 6 cycles, i was successfully ovulating but no pregnancy.
My next option is IVF and im terrified of how untrusive and potentially painful it may be.
Is it as bad as i think it could be ?

I don’t have experience of this but you should join the fertility network on health unlocked. There are lots of ladies going through ivf at the moment who will be able to help. Good luck on your journey. X
You have to remember that it is a means to an end. I had IUI which isnt quite so bad - all the drugs do make you very hormonal though but TTC is a bit of a rollercoaster anyway!!! I presume your partner has been tested already ? Did you actually ovulate or did they think you would and what dose were you on? You can get injections that force ovulation as often ours are ready to ovulate but they are a lazy lot and each waits for the other to take the leap so we end up not ovulating even though we appear ready to. Did they test each month of clomid or just once ?
I had no luck on clomid but luck on Metformin! Might be worth exploring that before IVF?? I didn’t go on it for weight loss but to improve my chances of getting pregnant as my blood test results were so dire every month! I was on it for only a few months (Dec-May) and I got pregnant. My doctor said it was a miracle! Good luck!
