Norethisterone help

Hi my periods have been hit and miss for a couple of years now but ive never gone longer than 2 months without having one. My last one was over 3 months ago so my dr prescribed me norethisterone to take for 1 week to bring it on. It worked but since ive stopped taking it im feeling sick everyday, so much so im retching but not bringing anything up and my stomach has ballooned which makes me look 9 months pregnant- ive done a few tests and they are all negative. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to stop it and make my stomach go back down again please.

I'm sorry no one has replied until now. Unfortunately i don't have any experience with that medicine but maybe you are experiencing withdrawals from the medicine since you stopped taking it suddenly. Maybe the dosage is why you are getting some side effects as well. Try talking to your doctor.

Thanks for your reply, the symptoms have gone now so maybe it was just from stopping them. It just worried me coz it was happening for a few weeks after and i wasn't sure why.
