I am the same and I've not been able to find a solution for it other than reading around about diets I've read that if I cut out all forms of dairy products excluding butter I should start to see an improvement after 6-12months it's a lengthy process but have been off dairy for nearl three months so far. When I next see my doctor I'll see if there is any other things that can help as we discussed a pill but it wasn't suitable as I am TTC.

you can get a cream called vaniqa which slows down the hair growth speed but not when TTC. The other thing is an epilator (wet and dry ones are good as its must less painful in the shower). I have had laser on my face about 5 years ago and it literally transformed my life, which sounds silly really, but it did, I didn't feel self conscious about my stubble etc. The only permanent way is electrolysis but its slow, I would say I have got 95% of the hair on my face now but do need to maintain it due to it being a hormone imbalance.

When I conceived you could either become really hairy or less hairy, I so thought I would get lucky and it would be less, sadly I turned into a yeti :-)

Lol I'm already a yeti when I become pregnant I know it will only get worse I've tried most things I have really stubborn jet black thick hair I'm mixed so it's corse and curly and so awfully shameful how a women could grow so much hair everywhere honestly it's so bad. I'm going to try laser on my whole body the only down side is I will have to shave it all off to start and that's going to be a nightmare. Thanks for the suggestions though xx

I know how you feel, I wrote a post and then deleted it because I felt shame . It's like I was saying it out loud that I was some kind of 'she beast '😐. It's the hair, it's not like it's just a bit , or a little more than average, it's like wearing a thin layer of black cloth.im sooo embarrassed but at least this site is showing me that I'm not alone .

Please believe me you are not alone and I for one totally agree it's like a thick layer of black cloth honestly I'm only 21 and I've given up on going out partying or to special events as I just get so fed up finding nice things for women my age to wear without feeling older than I actually am. But this site is for us to share our feelings of shame and embarrassment as we are all going through similar things it's totally upsetting that so many women are having a difficult time living with this syndrome and I feel for you because I know exactly what it feels like to always be conscious and feeling ashamed if anyone spots even the slightest bit of hair which happens occasionally to me around my family especially the younger ones who don't yet understand what I'm dealing with and why I'm so hairy everywhere and it does hurt sometimes when they laugh and say auntie why are you hairy like a man but you just have to laugh with them as they don't know any different yet to them they just say what they see. I really do hope one day there will be an inexpensive and successful way to rid the extra layer to allow us to be women again and not feel so awful most of the time xx
