I really enjoyed my breakfast this morning. I boiled some quinoa and chia seeds yesterday and today I heated up a pear with maple syrup and caramelised it a little and had it on top of the quinoa. I got the idea from one of the links from Jerry’s post yesterday regarding proteins. 😁 🥣 so thank you Jerry!

I bet that was lovely Ali. I regularly eat Quinoa but never thought of having it for breakfast, what did you use for cooking the Quinoa i.e. did you cook it in fruit juice?
Hi, no I cooked it in boiled water. When it had boiled for a while I added some chia seeds and took it off the heat and covered the pan with a plate. I was going to put some milk in it this morning as I have made quinoa porridge before but I didn’t feel that this needed it. It was nice and I’m not keen on quinoa.😁
