Yesterday I bought some lovely local Bramley cooking apples and then went out and picked some blackberries that grow around the back of some allotments near me so they're even more local and free...
For the filling I used 4 large apples peeled and cored with the blackcurrants chia seeds and a few more flaked almonds.
The crumble I made with ground red quinoa and sesame seeds with ground almonds flaked almonds total 125g with 125g plain gf flour. 125g coconut oil and 50g of dark soft brown sugar. I sprinkled sesame seeds and flaked almonds on to and baked for 45 mins 150C. I like baking with soft brown sugar the best.
And I had it with a little Soya cream and Swedish Glace which's Debs fault LOL...😊
