Vasculitis is a life changing illness affecting many aspects of the patient's life.

Being diagnosed with vasculitis, going through treatment and having to look after your family is definitely not easy. Having support from people who understant what you are going through is important.

These stories are unbelievable yet so powerful. It’s certainly made me think, quite a lot in fact about the issue of awareness. Apart from about 4 people who are close to me all my other family and friends just don’t get it! They ask me how I am doing and when I start to explain their faces go blank. I’m not boring because I was a top training consultant but it’s like they don’t want to know. It’s becoming a bit of a crusade for me. Let’s bang the drum.
