I have just received my copy of The RouteMap for Vasculitus - I have to say I am very impressed with the amount of information & coverage in it - it will be a very useful source of referral & information for me as a parent of a child with Wegeners Granulomatosis & I would certainly recommend it to anybody dealing with Vasculitis.

Route map for vasculitis
Thank you Bailey 24. Your comments are very much appreciated.

I am waiting for results of an ANCA test to see if I have Vasculitis and at my wits end till results come through. My legs are in such a mess with all these big blood splurges. They are black when they come up and some of them full of blood. They take quite a while to change colour and weeks before they fade away. I just feel I'm getting too old to cope with all these illnesses that have come out of the closet at me this year. This is the fourth one to join my outstanding diseases. I'm so fed up. Please excuse my rant but that's how I feel this morning. Could go on and on but best not, anyway folks thanks for listening xxxx
Hi, if you have particular problems please send me a message telling all about it. I don't like too much being on the open page, so a private message is best. We all go through a difficult time when the illness strikes, but it does get better. Probably what seems to be several illnesses is just the dirrerent manifestations of the same disease.

With out Patricia's hard work in collecting information and producing the Route Map, literally hundreds of hard copies of the Route Map would never have been posted to Hospitals, GP's and specialist nurses all over the UK.
Vasculitis UK are also very grateful to John Mills and Genetic Alliance UK for giving VUK the opportunity to produce the Route Map for Vasculitis, also all the doctors who have a special interest in Vasculitis who have contributed to the Route Map. I believe there will be another updated version of the RM available in the next few weeks.
Sounds interesing how do get the route map?
You can read the Route Map on line. vasculitis.org.uk/about/rou... Or order a hard copy from the shop vasculitis.org.uk/shop
Best wishes
