Prof D’Cruz at the London Lupus Centre at London Bridge is a well known vasculitis specialist (in addition to lupus): londonlupuscentre.com/. He also has an NHS vasculitis clinic based in the lupus unit at Guy’s Hospital.

The Vasculitis UK team may be able to give you a list of other specialists who might be able to help - contact details are available at vasculitis.org.uk/helpline

He’s very popular so usually has a private waiting list and an NHS one, but if you call his secretary they can see what they can do (or point you in the direction of another vasculitis specialist he recommends).

If the eye problems are serious Moorfields hospital has an A& E walk in department. No referral needed.

there is a brand new national vasculitis centre at UCL headed by professor Salman Siddiqui- not sure if he works privately too

In my experience its very difficult to find a vasculitis specialist who sees patients privately. However I know someone who is being treated privately at the Royal Free. I will try and dig out details. This is not though a vasculitis specialist rather a rheumatologist. Beside Dr D'Cruz thir is a guy at St Thomas's.. someone on this forum will know the name although I believe he has a specific EGPA clinic.hope that helps.

At least three consultant members of the vasculitis team at the Royal Free Hospital (Hampstead - north London) do some private work. They are primarily nephrologists, but deal with many types of vasculitis. Contact can be made via royalfreeprivatepatients.co... . If you make clear on the form that there is eye involvement, I'm sure they will say if they might be able to help.

Hi there.

I can see you have already been recommended to Prof D’Cruz, if you do go to see him, I’d add that he is superb, I was an NHS patient with him and he always gave me so much time and you could tell genuinely cared and so knowledgeable.

I’m sure all good recommendations though. I’m waiting to see someone new myself at the moment.

Good luck
