Thank you - Jay Introduction

Thank you for the replies to my introduction post. It is good to know that there are people out there to share my concerns with. I'm realising that I do need to get in the habit of seeking help. I think why I've found things tough is that we've had quite a few big life events to navigate aswell as a pandemic! I'd been working away and had managed to get a job locally so came back to Plymouth. So things were working out well when were thrown this curveball about Matthew's health.

I'm always trying to count my blessings and stay positive. We're still lucky in a lot of ways and I keep reminding myself of that. For now it's a lovely sunny day in Plymouth and we've got a lamb roast dinner to look forward to this evening! I've spoken to my Mum and in spite of her dementia was able to wish her a Happy Mothers Day and she understood. Best wishes to everyone out there.
