Several of my neighbours, we only have eighteen flats, have had/ currently 'have' COVID. Now I know that this 'Variant' isn't as Serious- to Most People that is! However I am Immune Suppressed, due to BOTH Vasculitis AND a Kidney Transplant (in July 2013).Clearly IF I DO contract, this disease, I will HAVE to then contact my own Doctor As Quickly As Possible.
The Staff here are, in actual fact, Very Good at keeping 'Covid Possitive' Residents 'isolated'- and using Full PPE when dealing with them. They are also excellent at the Quarantine/ Testing regime, as well. So, from that Point Of View, I DO feel 'Protected' BUT.....
Hope you ALL remain Well anyway

Andrew I’m sorry you are feeling anxious and scared at the moment, it’s very understandable and many feel as you do at the moment. Think some people have forgotten we are still in a pandemic situation.
I’m guessing you have the priority PCR and lateral flows tests. The new antivirals work really well I’m let to believe if started early.
Wearing a good mask as previously suggested and windows open.
Hi Andrew you’ve lasted this long I feel sure you and the staff can keep you safe. Open your windows when you can and keep away from everyone until it settles down. Take care.
Andrew I have GPA and also immune suppressed, I recently caught the virus after 2 years of dodging the thing, for me it was like I had flu for 3 days in bed, but recovered very quickly, I did stop taking my immune suppressed medication as advised by the specialist, I did lose sense of taste for a few weeks, I too was worried when I saw the dreaded 2 lines on the lateral flow test,
My dad who is on a clinical trial for leukaemia and is immune suppressed and hasn’t got much protection from the vaccine was told this week by his consultant that the anti virals work really well. Hopefully as you’re being very careful you won’t get it. It is an anxious time. Take care
