BMA says doctors will have to make very difficult choices about which patients get blood tests as the shortage of blood tubes worsens

This is certainly serious for those who have auto immune conditions and are taking chemotherapy and/or immune suppressants - monitoring via regular blood tests is essential not only for disease activity but for possible side effects from the drugs themselves. So please don’t think your regular blood tests are not important, because they are!
