Hi, I’m just waiting on my blood test results but I think it’s Vasculitis. Started as a red non blanchable rash all over my legs, swollen ankles and knees. It’s now fading and turning into yellow bruising. Is this typical? Would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks, Caroline

My OH had a rash like this plus sinus issues before he was diagnosed with GPA. You will find the vasculitis helpline literally a life saver plus the vasculitis uk web site for more information if you are diagnosed with vasculitis.
This looks very like the rash I had weeks before being diagnosed with vasculitis. I hope your blood results help get you the right treatment. It can take time but will keep you well take care x
Hi Caroline, I have had this rash twice. The second time it was accompanied by pneumonia and after 2 1/2 weeks I was sent to hospital and diagnosed with EGPA. The rash turned into ulcers and I had it for 5 months because of the cycloposphamide and predisolone treatment it wouldn't heal. They eventually gave me strong antibiotics that cleared it up within 3 weeks. Don't touch it. I will show you pics of mine when it first started with swollen feet, ankles and legs and how it can turn out.
The first rash I got was only on the 1 leg it did clear up with yellow brushing. I didnt know what I had at that stage. The second time I got the rash it went crazy. All the best with your diagnosis and treatment Caroline. I have been on antibiotics since June 2019 along with the rest....
