For the women out there, has being on Prednisolone affected your periods in any way ?

I'm too old to worry - but it can do, yes. They commonly can make them irregular, prolonged or heavier.

Definitely! Not only being on Prednisolone but when I change the dosage this affects them too. Every time I change the dose the date of the first day of my cycle changes. Once I've settled into taking a regular dose my periods slowly become more regular again. Hope that helps.

I am just constant bleeding. When I think back it seems since being put on Pred. I was due to have a smear test that wan cancelled in March and they said cant do while bleeding. Although the Pred doesn't seem to be doing much to help my legs. They are a mess and just not healing.

Speak to your GP. Constantly bleeding is not normal.

Thank you. Really helpful. I spoke to one of the consultants this afternoon as was due an update and I mentioned to him and he said he never heard of Pred interfering with Periods. He said oh I suggest you speak to your GP. I would have thought he would have known something

Yes. First I lost it for 3 months, than I bled for almost three weeks, now it is irregular, more painful and heavier. I went to my GP and she arranged an ultrasound for me. Give your GP a call, they are all doing phone and/or video appointments now anyway.
