Hi there just to say I had my second infusion on the 31 - 3- 20 and was due to go back to the clinic on the 21st April but had a phone consultation instead, I was asked how I was by the doctor at addenbrooke's and I said I was good exept my left leg from my knee down had started to swell up and I said that when I had water retention before on both legs the swelling would go down over night but this time on my left leg it wasn't going down but was like it all the time, So the doc told me to phone my doctor and he sent me to my local hospital and had some blood tests to check if I had a blood clot they came back all good but had a scan afterwards and found I had a clot behind my left knee area, they said as I hadn't had any recent injury to that leg they were not sure why I had a clot but wondered if it could be caused by my infusions of rituximab, any thoughts on that would be appreciated. Thankyou.

People with vasculitis are at increased risk of DVTs. I don't think it is connected with your treatment.
