Vasculitis and Corona Virus

Had anyone advice for being on immune suppressents for Vasculitis in context with Corona Virus ?

On the government web site there is good up to date information .

Gov uk blog .

It addresses immune suppressed patients.

Like any viral infection it can be more severe in older people, those with low immunity and other health conditions.

It seems that most of the deaths have been in older people.

As with any viral infection good regular hand washing seems to be important and hygiene when coughing and sneezing use of tissues etc.

I guess it’s a wait and see at the moment and reporting any flu like symptoms.

None but take extra precautions

Avoid shaking hands. Have antibacterial hand wipes and gel. Use it frequently

Avoid people who are sneezing

You're potentially at more risk of complications but if you got to that point it's very likely you'd already be under extra care and support. If it becomes a genuine concern in sure your consultant / clinic will issue guidelines. But as others have said, best practice and avoid getting it!
