Dear Christophene,

I'm not too sure BUT, I was Blocked from HERE once and Susan (Mills) sorted it out, for me. She MAY know how, to contact, one of their Administrators. I know that it's, a bit of an imposition, but, if you explain, I think that she May very well help you.

Good luck, can you let us know please?

I actually don’t know how to contact Candy... but I believe there are one or two members in this group from PMR/GCA and maybe one or two of those can help you. You can appeal your case with the HealthUnlocked directly if you choose do so.

Good morning christophene, you are still able to message the admin of pmrgcauk whilst restricted. Candy will be able to give you the reason you were restricted. Obviously you feel that a certain member has targetted you but i am certain this is not the case.

I will forward your question to candy but like i say you are able to contact admin from pmrgcauk direct.

Unless you use the private communication system, I will not discuss the matter.

I have nothing to discuss with you whether it be private or not so i am unsure what your threat to not discuss matters is about. As i have made clear you can contact candy via our forum and she will be able to discuss why you have been restriced. I have also pointed out that as HU do not work weekends the earliest you will get a response is Monday uk time.

I have done so and no response.

That will because they dont work at weekends.

Why in the world would take my comment as a threat. ??? As a former barrister, you should know the word threat has a legal meaning. There is a reason for a private message system. And being blocked is not a matter for the whole community in my opinion.

I felt your last comment was very offensive. I was not implying anything in not having a response as yet. Of course, Administrators do not work on weekends.

Some matters may feel private to a member. So now that you have really managed to offended me , my position is reinforced. You are taking your title much too seriously. Have you no manners or respect for a member's wishes, especially as we all our suffering?? ; have a chronic illness, have been on steroids for years.

As I said, I would prefer, if you want to say something to me, do so in the messaging system. You are wasting my time. But now you have brought it into the whole community disrespecting my wish to be discreet. If you cannot be discreet, then I really have nothing to say to you. Kindly do not respond again. Thank you.

You are a force for good on these communities, and I have always valued your comments, experience and wisdom, which have helped me a lot. I hope you get this sorted out. If not, you could always change your details and re register. Yes, yes I know you shouldn't have to, but dont make yourself ill either. Good luck. X

Thank you SkinnySara for your kind words. Another member forwarded your post to me in the private email system. How kind of her and you to reach out .I am unblocked , but am not sure I want to continue participating. The reasons given for the block made no sense whatsoever.

This should be a forum for support and healing. Everyone has an illness here, and there is value in sharing experiences for sure. It is not a place to be attacked, especially when one is ill.

Legitimate reasons be for blocking would be :being vulgar, using bad language, being insulting , and things of that nature, not for referring to a book which was relevant , or using the word "implant"; it should be handled very differently than the way it was. Any recommendation or comment can be taken or ignored at each member's discretion.

There are always going to be people in any organization who are not the kindest in spirit.

I would also like to thank Andrew, Bridge and Candy , the administrator for her skills at diplomacy.

Moderators should be chosen with more care, and how they are chosen should be transparent. Heron and Mrs. Nails are examples of fine moderators. But how they are chosen has never been made clear .

I shall say no more, but thank you all again for your kindness and support.

It was made clear at the time they were appointed. And Heron is not actually a moderator.

And you Sara, of course.

I haven't been around on this blog long. I have had a look around at different ones but relating to my illnesses

I saw this post and wondered why a person could be restricted.

This my first message but I have read some of your posts and replies. I was struggling to understand what a n experience years before in your younger days had to do with the conditions that the blogs are for

.i am sad you had bad Incidents in your life o er the years. For me some of it was Time wasted in explaining symptoms now.

Surely if we want to be part of a group we should take responsibility for our own part too. I saw that some moderators pointed out when you were passing on wrong ideas or were not really focusing on the post.

I am sorry you feel perturbed but its clear from what I have looked at that you are facing personal challengers that may be best shared with a counsellor. I wish you well and hope you can go forwards. I always think its not very ethical to name by omission other moderators that you seen to have a personal problem with. There is always a reason for mods to question the contributions made otherwise people become cliche. Hopefully you will get it sorted out... Given dirty washing is being wash in Public I think there is a chance this is my first on only message, as I thought it was run by by good strong guidelines. The last thing I ever want is wrong information.
