I was diagnosed with HUVS last year . Since then l have taken colchicine and hydroxychloroquine. . Finally being diagnosed l was very optimistic, but l am still getting very painful attacks . I am getting more swollen patches especially on my back which means that l can not put any pressure on it ,so no sleep or sitting with my back against any thing , no moving really . I can not take steroids , they effect my eyes . I am worried about going for stronger drugs but, when in pain l will take any thing ,

I feel like l would just like to take these drugs when l need , I really don’t know should l go for stronger drugs if advised or take strong painkillers when l have these unbearable attacks .
