I was diagnosed in 2013 with MPA vasculitis with near total kidney failure. Fortunately, my 15% function increased to 25%. Though in remission, I take Mycophenolate to keep my immune system in check. I also take a host of other meds for general pain and neuropathy pain.
All that aside, I get terrible pain in my shoulder blades, especially with fatigue. I've never figured out why but with all the other pain and maladies that started with vasculitis, I've not investigated the problem further.
Is your kidney function being monitored, it could be the azathioprine is not strong enough to control the Vasculitis , I should have a chat with your consultant about this. Any new or reoccurring symptoms should always be investigated
