'YIPPEE', I'm Rich!

This evening, about eight, I finished the Viennetta I had in the freezer. A few minutes ago I went to throw, the box, in the Recycling when 'Something' rattled. I had TWENTY PENCE in the wrapper.....No, I can't tell you 'How' it got there sorry. So I'm 'Officially' Rich...Well actually 20p Richer than I thought anyway!

Has anyone else, have any, stories of such 'Riches'? (Maybe 50p, or even £1)

I always put my winter clothes in storage when the season changes. One year I was removing a will coat from storage. I inspected the coat and hung it outdoors to get rid of the month ball scent. Days went by. My old coat hugged me in warmth. THEN...I went to Costa to be over charged...I mean for a cup of coffee. I ordere d, went to pay and SHAZAM! I found a fiver! A five pound note...in the lining of my battered-but-reliable leather handbag! Talk about feeling young again! I was rich. I belted out a happy screech and held my aching head up high. A few oldies-but-goodies believed I was having a stroke. Well...that's my story...hang-on...I still have the change. Never spent it all these years later. I refer to it as my good-luck money. ☺
