Hi My husband had Cerebral Vasculitis 5 years ago, and now has had two tonic chlonic seizures. We are needing to find some kind of alarm system which he can wear and can activate if he's on his own and about to have a seizure, does anyone have any experience in finding such a device?

Where are you? Google medical alarms for seniors and give the country and see what comes up.

Without knowing the country it is a difficult question to answer. There are various sorts - but it also depends on whether you need it to work from home only or out when out and about. There are also medic alert bracelets which have brief details of medical conditions on them and a contact number for when someone has lost consciousness where paramedics or other healthcare professionals can access a medical database for more details of the medical history.

We are in the UK, I need it for when he is out and about, he cycles a lot and needs it mainly for that.

I'd think the medic alert bracelet might be a good start then - but there are versions with GPS too

is an American site but would give you some ideas. Does he need to be able to alert YOU or direct to 999?

might be helpful for the UK.
