Good News, on DisAbled Pass

My 'Disabled Parking Permit' is due for renewal, at the end of July. I made the application, about a week ago, this was slightly complicated by my changing addresses, in the intervening year. I received an Email today, stating that my application WAS successful. I have just paid, for it, 'On Line'. The confirmation Email states that I Should 'Receive The Pass, withing two weeks'. I'd say a Result!

I believe that I had to have an 'Assessment', last time, coupled with my now living in an 'Assisted Living' environment, probably helped. I am also aware that the Government were/still are? reviewing the criteria for 'Hidden Dis-ability', so that could have 'helped' me.

Either way, it's very good news, that Bodes Well for others. Just thought that I'd share this. Hope 'Everyone' is well (OK as well as can be expected, sorry).

Even Better News......My Blue Badge arrived today, 27/June/2018. The old one is still valid until 30/July/2018. I have to continue with the Old Badge, until the 30th, then I can 'Seamlessly' Change Over. I have even arranged, with my regular Cab Driver, to 'divert' past the relevant Council Offices in order to drop the Old Blue Badge, into them.

Good News indeed, I hope that this 'Bodes Well', for everyone.
