I am truly sorry that I didn't make it to the AGM as was my intention, I did so want to meet you and Susan again and also Jayne Hardman, she is such an inspiration. But the truth is I left Londom at 09:00 to journey to Derby with plenty of time to find the venue but on route I lost all Satnav communication so ended up driving blind. I eventually got to Derby found what I could remember of the route I took before recogising various landmarks but couldn't find the venue, no signs indicating the University of Derby Enterprise centre. Poor show there on the council! After driving around the inner ring road several times and seeing the time had past for the start of the meeting I decided to abort the mission and headed back south. 256 miles and £40.00 of fuel. Seems the phone service carrier is to blame for loss of signal so I will be having strong words with them! Its good to see that you all had a good meeting and welcome to all our new trustees. I will talk later by phone, at least that works!
We did miss you and wondered why you hadn’t come. There is now a very large sign indicating the Enterprise Centre but you have to be on the right road to see it. Speak very soon, lots to catch up.
