I have MPA. My next infusion will be Truxima, a biosimilar for Rituximab. Has anyone noticed any difference when changed to Truxima?

Hi amms43,

I am on rituximab infusions every 4 months for GPA. I Have had 8 so far and the last one in October was switched to Truxima which I will be getting going forward.

Having now experienced both drugs, there was absolutely no difference as far as I could tell.

Best regards,

Alan

I've been changed to this, but haven't had it yet, so will be interested in comments.

Hi there! I worked on a set of slides recently on biosimilars and seem to recall seeing some data (I think it was UK based) stating no difference in switching patients. I will have a look to see if I can find the reference. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies. It was helpful to hear from the three of you. I had my first infusion today; no change there and just feeling normally tired this evening but fine.
