That was a very helpful article. They aren't so sure that the fluid in my lungs was really pneumonia as they thought. And not so sure about the lingering pleurisy either, which was gone tiday oer ultrasound. I see Rheum Monday.

Update on my lungs: I have MPA, and it seems it has settled in my lungs (after initially seeking a home in most of my other major organs). I had a CT scan last week for abdomen but it captured the lungs in part and a new nodule was present, which my Pulmonologist says is suspicious due to the inflammation and persistent pleural effusion (now gone I think) and (a new problem from Prednisone) Esophagitis. He was concerned that the GERD caused me to aspirate something into my lung and the nodule to grow - it was not there last summer , but is now 4x7 mm. The other nodule is at the top of my right lung - 4 mm. The Fleischman Protocol says not to re-scan for 6-12 months, but because of my immunosuppression, MPA, the GERD, and parents being chain smokers, being female and 63 years old (in April), he will have me get a CT again in June. The other nodule was on an annual re-scan schedule. I know nodules are common, but hearing "suspicious" is concerning.
