Has anyone had Prolia injections for osteoporosis caused by steroids who has GPA

If so,did you have side effects from it?

Is there a natural treatment for osteoporosis without more drugs???

We take a tablet to treat one thing which in turn causes something else that needs treating .....so on it goes!!!

We have someone on the PMRGCAUK forum who raised her bone density from -2.1 (requiring intervention) to -1.6 (no treatment required) in a year just by exercise, eating well and calcium/vit D/vit K2 supplements (I think the vit K2 was supplements as well as dietary K2 but I'm not sure).

I'm sure she'd be delighted to tell you about her experiences - she really has read up on it very widely and her info is reliable.

In the post above there is a bit that is in blue - that is a link to her profile page. Here it is again:

At the top right, on the banner is a green box with follow and next to it a white box saying message. Click on that and a page will come up with New Message where you can write her a post that will only be seen by her but otherwise it is no different from posting here. It already will have her address there automatically - you just write your post and click on Send

Hi I've been having for about 4 years now - every 6 months. It's very expensive and GP's don't like to pay fir it. I e had no amused effects, previously had various tablets that did make me feel awful hence consultant recommended change over to injection. Hope it helps. Take care.
