Excellent support meeting at Scarborough Hospital yesterday

Just wanted to say that we were invited to the second Vasculitis support meeting yesterday at Scarborough Hospital.

it was attended by 40 😊

John Mills spoke about Vasculitis, his experience of vasculitis and vasculitis uk. There was also time for lots of chat over coffee and home made cakes.

Just also wanted to say thank you to Specialist Rheumatolgy nurse, Ruth and the team for arranging the meeting and looking after everyone so well.

Also wanted to say thank you to Emily, who presented John with a cheque. Emily and her school friends have raised over £1000 for VUK for having a sleep out and a cake and bake stall. Emily has vasculitis and is 12 years old. There will a photo of Emily and her friends in the VUK Autumn newsletter.

What a shame it hadn't been while I was visiting our daughter in Whitby - I would love to meet you two!!
