Skechers do a range with memory foam soles, they are so comfy, I have 2 pair. Also lots of styles and fairly generous fitting for your bunions 😃

Karrimor range? They do various trekking trainers which are designed to be worn in challenging terrain so have to be comfortable. Mine are. I think sports direct stock them.

Thanks Orsen will have a look we have a Sports Direct in town....

Just bought my first pair of Skechers with memory foam insoles, very comfortable. My Mother lives in hers and it's the first pair of shoes my Husband has found comfortable in the heat ( he is a martyr to his feet! ).

I find Merrel trainers and sandals super comfortable as well. Worth looking on Amazon or in outlet shops for special deals as they are a bit pricey.

Hope you have a lovely holiday.

Skechers go walks with memory foam. They do such a wide range, you are sure to find something to suit you. I wear mine 8.5 hours a day for work, and it feels like I'm wearing slippers!

Hi Sandie,

I know you said you need trainers ... but ... I swear by the brand Fitflop, they have different types of opens sandals, with toe thongs, straps across the foot, etc. I think they also have trainer type shoes, but you'll have to look. This range have a special sole, it's called the Microwobbleboard™ midsole and it helps to relieve underfoot pressure and absorbs shock. I swear by them, as I can walk all day in them. In fact as soon as the weather changes, I'm never out of them! Definitely worth a look. :)

There's an online shop called Shoetique, here's a link to some special offers: shoetique.co.uk/fitflop-m5.

I can highly recommend using this company, as they are very efficient and helpful. Hope this has helped you and good luck in your search. Enjoy your holiday. xx

I Iive in the States, but I know that the shoes I use for walking are available on line. They are called Litfoot. I cannot wear trainers, I find them to be very heavy and uncomfortable. Litfoot come in many attractive colors. I have been wearing them for 4 years now, they are very soft leather which is flexible and comfortable. I am frequently stopped and asked where I bought them and told that they look great. Try Amazon if you are interested. They do not do half sizes. I normally take a 6 1/2 U.S. but take a 7 in this make. I hope you find them. Try Amazon.

Dear SandieB,

I agree with poemsgalore, Cosyfeet or, another company, DB-both do 'extra wide' fittings. Just be careful that the shoes are 'outdoor' types ones-as the 'indoor' ones are NOT waterproof!

It is, always difficult, to find the appropriate footwear-no one does exactly what you need. It is therefore always, and I do mean always, a 'best fit' situation. However, with care-and a level of luck-you should be able to find what you require.

I wish you the very best of luck.

Kind regards

AndrewT
