Groin pain

Hi has anyone with WG had left sided groin pain? I've had it intermittently for a few weeks now and the pain is steadily become more frequent especially during the night. Any clues anyone as to what it might be?

Hi Ludo,

I suffered with pain in my groin for many months, during the night, too. Various doctors couldn't say what the cause was. This included all the doctors I saw prior to my diagnosis, and following the diagnosis for WG early 2012. The pain eventually went away, but it has recurred slightly only recently (don't know why - still on all the same meds). The pain did suddenly switch sides after some time, which was odd!

Thanks for replying Jem reassuring too hear you have experienced groin pain too which seems to come and go. Mine was pretty bad when I wrote on thes site, but although I am aware of it now it's settled again. I haven't seen my doctor yet as I wondered if it was hip pain, but others have said I need to rule out something more serious. So I will make an appointment.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I will let you know if I have a diagnosis for it.
